CEMENTLESS FEMORAL STEM

The 1/3 proximal part of the prosthesis, which is made of titanium alloy, is coated with Hydroxyapatite over Plasma Spray to ensure adhesion and maximum bone compatibility, followed by at least 1 cm of HA.

The Femoral Stem has a 135o proximal bevel angle in all diameters.

The proximal posterior part is rounded for better adhesion to the bone and to prevent rotation.

The distal part of the femoral stem is polished to prevent thigh pain, the distal part has a round cross-section and there are two opposite canals at the distal part of the stem.

In order to be used in the application of the prosthesis, there are connection points on the prosthesis for mounting the hammer extractor apparatus and socket places to prevent rotation during hammering.

The Femoral Stem has a 135o proximal inclination angle in all diameters.

The proximal posterior part is rounded for better adhesion to the bone and to prevent rotation.

The distal part of the femoral stem is polished to prevent thigh pain, the distal part has a round cross-section and there are two opposite canals at the distal part of the stem.

The surface of the femoral stem used with bone cement is either sandblasted or polished.

To be used in the application of the prosthesis, there are connection points on the prosthesis for mounting the hammer extractor apparatus and socket places to prevent rotation during hammering.
